Your mission:

The local IT Security Analyst is responsible for analysing security incidents, improving overall security visibility and monitor, hunt and detect for security anomalies throughout the organization's networks and systems. You will guarantee the follow up of security incidents and analyse them in close collaboration with the local service desk and security operations center in France. The Security Analyst will work with a diverse set of security technologies. You will contribute and report security improvements and findings to other members of the security team.

The local IT Security Analyst will report to the Head of IT Security.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Manage and follow-up security incidents until closure within timely manner in close collaboration with SOC Paris HQ & local teams.
  • Increase security visibility through improvement initiatives such as reporting, log management and automation where possible
    Contribute to global internal audit compliance, governance & process and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Responsible for creation & keeping specific drawings up to date that contribute to the analysis of security incidents
  • Security Backlog owner & management of change requests
  • Manage false positives and alerts of the IPS/IDS and Web Application Firewall
  • Vulnerability management : be able to setup new scans when new vulnerabilities come out to identify and inventorize security gaps on systems and help Infra teams prioritize their efforts
  • Analyze a diverse set of security reports on a monthly basis and review identity access on specific applications
  • Monitor alerts for a diverse set of security technologies (DMZ proxies, anti-virus, key vaults, Privileged identity access management, …)
  • Keep security operations guide & technical documentation linked up to date


  • Bachelors or Masters degree in information technology or equivalent by experience (5+ years), a specialization in networking or security would be a plus
  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP and ISO Layer understandings
  • Good knowledge of Windows & Linux administration & basic scripting (bash/powershell)
  • Good knowledge of Visio
  • Experience with Azure or Amazon AWS is a plus
  • Good knowledge of technical security concepts (zones, vlans, objects, policies, rules, reverse proxies)
  • Familiar with Incident Management Skills (ITIL certification is a plus)
  • Soft Skills : Autonomous, analytical, rigorous, methodical, initiative
  • Good team player and communication skills are essential
  • Any certification related to security is a plus (Security+, ISACA CSX, Firewall related certifications)
