Fonction

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in projects that aim to improve the experience of our customers, while contributing to the success of Sodexo. You will participate in the design of innovative solutions and products, used by a large number of citizens in Belgium (such as the service voucher, the training voucher, etc.), using agile methodologies and in collaboration with many sharp colleagues .

Your curiosity, your analytical mind and your interpersonal skills will enable you to understand the needs of internal and external stakeholders and to imagine pragmatic and effective solutions for them.

Your mission will be :

- Understanding and documenting business opportunities, problems, objectives or needs

- Optimize or build business processes and software tools (used internally or externally)

- Act as an interface between business and IT departments to ensure requirements are met

Your main responsibilities:

Initiate changes:

- Clarify business needs and define solutions by interviewing Managers, Experts, and other stakeholders from various departments

- Check the feasibility of the solutions by discussing with the IT team (functional analysts, architects, technical analysts) or the impacted stakeholders.

- Estimate development and operational costs of the solution

- Review existing processes and applications and propose improvements

- Align stakeholders

- Participate to the writing of commercial offers for strategic customers

- Collaborate with project managers on business cases, project charters and planification

Implement changes:

- Collaborate with product Owners to define priorities

- Define the business architecture and processes

- Specify functional and non-functional requirements

- Write documentation using BPMN, Archimate and UML

- Write User Stories and Acceptance Criterias

- Write acceptance test cases.

- Perform acceptance tests

- Answer development team or stakeholders questions

Profil

- At least 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst

- Preferably have a Master's degree in IT or management

- Interest in new technologies, digitalisation, development techniques

- Financial knowledge (cost/benefit analysis, budgeting, accounting)

- Elicit requirements using different techniques (interviews, document analysis, workshops, brainstorming, surveys, data studies)

- Excellent communication skills: be able to express yourself clearly in writing and orally and to explain complex subjects to non-experts

- Knowledge of SCRUM and principles of project management

- Be autonomous and methodical, and organise your time according to priorities

- Have experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure Devops
