You report directly to the Controlling Manager and are responsible for preparing the financial reporting, preparing the budget and monitoring it for the P&L positions for which you are responsible.

Your good knowledge of the company and the close contacts you develop with your various contacts are major assets.

You conduct targeted analyses to support our internal clients in their decision-making and strategy.

Finally, you participate in projects and assess their financial impacts.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collect, analyse and transmit financial information to management and the Group;

• Track budgets and operating results: analyze costs and explain variances between actual and budgeted figures;

• Monitor and develop reporting processes so that the Finance and General Management have the right information at the right time;

• Support the management of the various departments in understanding, managing and planning their financial performance, but also in making the right decisions based on rigorous analyses and simulations;

• Ensure the quality of financial reporting by monitoring and checking purchase orders and analytical invoicing;

• Model and monitor the financial impacts of the company’s various projects;

• Help improve our budgeting and financial reporting tool (IBM Planning Analytics) and our processes in general.


Master level or equivalent experience: Business Science, Business Management, Commercial Engineer

• Approximately 3-5 years professional experience in a financial function (audit, management control)

• Excellent Excel skills

• High rigour and accuracy

• Flexibility, adaptability, pressure management and short deadlines

• You are a real Business Partner for your internal customers, you advise and support them in their decision-making

• Autonomy and ability to work in a team

• Strong communication skills

• Knowledge of financial reporting software (Planning Analytics, Tagetik), ERP (SAP) or business intelligence (Cognos) is a plus and learning new ones doesn’t scare you

You have a good knowledge of one of the two national languages (FR/NL) and are able to work in the other.

In addition, you have a very good knowledge of English (regular international contacts).
