Functie

The primary responsibility of the Knowledge Management Officer will be to develop techniques and procedures for organizing, locating, and enabling access to relevant knowledge and expertise required to address specific tasks in our knowledge base. Additionally, the person will be responsible for creating governance and standards across various teams, workflows and integrated apps.

An ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment and has a background in leading content and information architecture strategy across the IT organization.

As a Knowledge Management Officer, you will define the knowledge management strategy and lead the content architecture and strategy. The role will focus on developing and maintaining high quality content for employees.

You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across the IT department to maintain consistency at IT department scale.

You will play a significant role in the development of a successful and effective knowledge base and will have direct impact on employee’s day to day.

  • 100%: Define the knowledge management strategy for our knowledge base and
    maintain high quality, up-to-date, and searchable content for audiences of varying skill level
    • Work effectively across the organization with stakeholders, project managers
      change management, IT service management teams, human resources and subject matter experts to develop and support new and existing products, features and services
    • Track the usage and define efficiency of the knowledge base content
    • Develop a team of authors from different departments
    • Establish writing guidelines based on knowledge base best practices and develop the teams to ensure they are achieving or surpassing them
      Define the knowledge management strategy for our knowledge base and

Profiel

  • Bachelor or university background
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar job
  • Experience with knowledge database or tools (Confluence, Sharepoint, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of process and flows ideally in an IT-context
  • Can work autonomously and take proactively initiatives
  • Very good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good facilitation skills (able to facilitate workshops, kick-off, etc.) and create awareness
  • Coaching or training skills (an experience with creation of e-learning content is a plus)
  • Analytical mindset
  • Is able to collect and summarize informations (process, flows, etc.)
  • Can manage his workload and the priorities and works in team if necessary
